My parents had a lot of stuff.
Eighty years worth of things.
We had to go through all of it.
I got my mother’s rings.
But there was just too much of it
To keep and use and store.
We had our own stuff each of us.
We each had things galore.
We boxed it up and sold it all
And then we sold their place.
They called it Happy Acres there.
It was their grace filled space.
