Today is WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY DAY!
I’ve been doing photography since 1962-1963 when my father handed down his Yashica film camera to me. Here is one of the first photos I’ve ever taken. It is of a hut on an island in the Majuro Atoll in the Marshall Islands. I was there with my Boy Scout troop to help establish the first troop in the Marshall Islands. Quite the experience for a 12-year old!

    One of the best pictures of Mt Baker I have ever seen. That it also captures the boat on the water puts it over the top for me as a magnificent representation of what we who are lucky enough to live in the PNW have a chance at viewing on any given day in this beloved corner of our country.
