BLOG #9 – Where’s Ernie?

Hi everybody, it’s been a tough month. I’ve been out injured and it’s been really difficult to try and get into my photography as well as my photo processing so just send money 😊

I’m a member of Scott Kelby’s Inner Circle organization, where he teaches us advanced photography techniques. In the recent Inner Circle assignment from Kelby, we have to apply what’s called focus stacking, where you’re using this whole series of photos set at different focal points. You stack them all up and you blend them together and then you come out with a pretty amazing photograph. Well I’ve never done that before and I just did it by taking some photographs of a fuchsia flower in my backyard.

Here is the photo. What impressed me with this photo was not only the clarity of the picture but also the fact that you could even see the tiny particles of pollen on top of the flower. I frankly don’t think I even saw them when I was taking the picture.

Please take a moment to enjoy.
