AI and EQ

Hello everyone! Ai is such a trending issue that it prompted me to write a blog about it.

The first Ai program was created back in 1955, it had a different name, though: Logic Theorist.
Generally speaking, the word ‘artificial’ is not a favourite of mine, because in my mind it reminds me of something fake.
Anyway, this is its name and it was coined in 1956 by an American Computer Scientist, John McCarthy.
In 1997 a supercomputer beat a world champion chess player in a match and since then Ai has developed to the point that we all use it in our daily life, even though usually we don’t think about it.
Face image recognition, smart assistants, navigation apps, Google search, drones, smart home devices and the list could go on.
It’s only a natural course that at a certain point it would affect the art world, since art also reflects our changing culture.
If trying it, I would use this prompt “search royalty free images”. I’m not sure but I think it’s possible.
Anyway, at present I have no works of Artificial Intelligence art. I have plenty of Emotional Intelligence inspired works, though! 🙂
FLOWERS AFTER THE WOUNDS is one of them and you are most welcome to have a look at it!

I write poems (exclusively in Italian). What I love in working with colours is that it's a direct language with no barriers. And I like how it brings me into my dreamworld.
I'm fond in particular of nature, because in its beauty there is love and hope.

I started a new series of artworks Weird but True, because many times nature can be quite bizarre! And the first one, Nature's palette, is already uploaded, you can see it in my website https://lucia-waterson.pixels.com/

I also started a new series of artworks, in which I select news from all over the world and I recount them to you through my eyes and my (he)art. We can take this ongoing journey together if you keep visiting. The first artwork is already uploaded, it's called Touching the sky.

Thank you very much! Lucia Waterson
