More choices for your Wall Art products!

Hello everyone! Do you find yourself wondering what product will best complement your beautiful artwork?

You have 3 more options to take into consideration, which are Metal Prints, Acrylic Prints and Wooden Prints.

So, let’s start with the Metal Prints. In Metal Prints the image is printed onto aluminum sheets, here in Pixels/Fineartamerica they add a wooden frame at the back so it will not touch the wall. This frameless design is a popular choice for photography, for public settings and for modern homes. It adds depth to the image, it’s highly glossy but have less glare than framed artworks, since there is no glass. They work well with pictures with vibrant colors and deep contrast, you will see that the color will look quite rich and stunning.

In Acrylic Prints, your image gets printed directly onto the back of a sheet of clear acrylic. It is also highly glossy and with rich stunning colors and it
even has a striking 3D appearance, because of the clear thickness of the panel. It’s super shiny and unwanted glare, though, might be a problem if you don’t position it correctly. An other thing you might want to consider is its weight: it can be quite heavy, so it’s not easy to move around and more expensive to ship.

Wood prints are perfect for adding a rustic feel to your image, which is printed on a wooden sheet (maple wood). Since here it’s printed directly to wood, any whites in the image won’t transfer and this makes the difference, because the visible wood grain will give a beautiful, warm and natural look, very popular for landscapes and rural settings. I think it’s a great choice for the autumn season images!
The only thing you might want to keep in mind, though, is that they don’t work so well with dark images, because the wood hue and pattern is lost.

In my next post I will answer some FAQ, in the meantime, please, feel free to look around at my site if you wish!

I write poems (exclusively in Italian). What I love in working with colours is that it's a direct language with no barriers. And I like how it brings me into my dreamworld.
I'm fond in particular of nature, because in its beauty there is love and hope.

I started a new series of artworks Weird but True, because many times nature can be quite bizarre! And the first one, Nature's palette, is already uploaded, you can see it in my website https://lucia-waterson.pixels.com/

I also started a new series of artworks, in which I select news from all over the world and I recount them to you through my eyes and my (he)art. We can take this ongoing journey together if you keep visiting. The first artwork is already uploaded, it's called Touching the sky.

Thank you very much! Lucia Waterson
