One of the things I have always loved about creative spaces is not just finished work, but the in-between moments. The ideas forming, the half-finished pieces, the plans that may or may not ever fully materialise.

So I would love to open this with a simple question….

What are you currently working on, thinking about, or quietly circling creatively?

It does not need to be polished or impressive. It could be a photograph you keep returning to, a painting that is annoying you, a piece of writing that will not behave, or even something you have not started yet but cannot quite let go of.

If you feel comfortable, share a few words about it. You are very welcome to include an image or link, but there is no requirement to do so. Conversation matters more than presentation here.

This space is open to all, so please keep discussion respectful and generous. Curiosity is encouraged, comparison is not.

I suppose I should answer my own question properly….

Right now, the thing I am most actively making is actually this magazine site itself. I keep forgetting that it counts, but it really does. The structure, the flow, the conversations, the decisions, the endless tweaking…. all of it feels very much like a living piece of work.

I am spending hours on it, occasionally pulling my hair out over it, and thinking about it far more than is probably healthy. But in the same way a painting or a long piece of writing slowly reveals itself, the site is doing that too.

So yes, at the moment, this is the art I am making. And apparently the medium is organisation, patience, and caffeine 😄
