Photographer in 2 stages. Began in high school taking slides - this stage continued for maybe 20 years, dabbling in competitions and happenings in the Australian Photographic Society and the Darwin Camera Club, until juggling a rush of kids and a career in geology got in the way. The second stage began after the kids grew up and I'd moved on to winemaking, when I found that all was digital, I needed to learn Lightroom and get my computer filing organised. Eventually retired and can now devote a lot more time to photography and developing the much neglected artistic side. Oh, and I've moved from SW Australia to Berlin.
