Happy New Year to all our Our Arts Magazine readers….

Dec 31, 2025

As we step into a new year, I wanted to share an important update with openness and gratitude.

I have now moved all of my own articles from Our Arts Magazine over to abbie-shores.com. The only pieces remaining on OAM are work created by our members, along with interviews, all of which will be carefully updated throughout January 2026. This marks a moment of complete change, intentional, thoughtful, and very much needed.

From here on, Our Arts Magazine is truly and wholly for its members. I am stepping out of the equation creatively so that I can focus on building my own site, while dedicating my energy to doing what I believe matters most in the year ahead, properly marketing and championing our members in the way they deserve. Not as an afterthought, not as filler, but as the heart of the platform.

This shift has been a long time coming. It feels right. It feels honest. And it allows OAM to become what it was always meant to be, a space where member voices are front and centre.
I am deeply grateful for the support I’ve received along the way. This community has meant more to me than I can neatly put into words. I would especially like to thank Robin, Hugh, Rudy, John and Ludwig, who have been there through thick and thin. Your steadiness, encouragement, and presence have mattered more than you know.

Here’s to a year of clarity, growth, and doing things properly… and to a future where our members shine as they should.

With sincere thanks and warm wishes,

Abbie
