Stone Skull aka The Garden Ghost

The planting bed in front of our apartment is mulched with rocks.  Sitting on the front porch one day this week I noticed one particular rock. There were holes in that rock that made it look like a human skull!

That rock mulch was put down in those beds over a year ago.  I have not raked or moved those rocks around.  That very rock landed “face up” when those rocks were placed in that bed originally.

How often have I been on that porch in the last year taking photographs of plants and insects in that very planting bed? How did I miss seeing that rock face before?

Although I tend to be detail oriented when creating I’m evidently not always as observant of my surroundings, at least not concerning little details like a rock with a face!

We get a community sales paper each week.  It contains one of those puzzles that show two drawings that have six subtle differences in them.  If you’re like me there are four or five differences that are real obvious and then the last one or two require a good search of every detail.

How good are you at finding the differences in those drawing puzzles?

How observant are you of your surroundings?

Do you notice little details or do you often miss them?

Do you tend to be detail oriented when working on a project?

Be sure and share your thoughts and experiences in the comment section as you answer the above questions.
