Crow Flying In The Fog

Jan 13, 2021

Art Prints

Description

All across the houses swirled the fog.
Cars driving past sounded muffled, although close by.
Snow crackled beneath the feet, ice breaking, squashing grass.
Birds raided nesting tables in neighbouring gardens filling up on suet and mealworms.
Above this all the crow sat in the largest Cherry tree with his eye closely watching all that went on below.
He caw’ed as he saw the cat creeping towards the Robin, but the Robin had already heard the brittle crunch of the predatorial paw.
Satisfied, the crow flew on winds of ice towards his destination
