The Little Wood Nymph

Art PrintsHanna flew through the forest. Her small furry feet not touching the ferns as she sped on her way to Ignarook.

Her eyes glistened as the wind caused them to water and with the tears she wanted to shed for Flock.

She had changed to her hound form to carry her faster on her quest. The Hawk would have been faster but the hunters were still at large and their arrows were true. With this form they were less likely attack and, if they did, the trees and her speed should protect her.

At last Ignarook was in sight. She saw the sentries in the trees. Remembering her present shape she shifted in midstride back into her female human form and called out to them that she had news of the uprising in the north………
