Clodhopper – a clumsy, loutish fellow.
Lackwit – someone entirely without sense.
Churl – a rude, surly rustic.
Mooncalf – a foolish dreamer, slow of wits.
Lummox – a big, awkward oaf.
Yokel – a simple country bumpkin.
Scullion – a lowly, dirty servant; an insult for someone beneath contempt.
Boor – an ill-mannered, coarse fellow.
Looby – a lazy, clumsy dolt.
Hobbledehoy – an awkward youth, not quite man, not quite boy.
Caitiff – a despicable, cowardly wretch.
Gawk – a slow, gawping fool.
