Abbie, many thanks,  the beauty of our own country is often overlooked,  as I understand it from FAA you are based around Manchester, not that far from the Lake District and other National Parks, these provide wonderful photo opportunities and an escape from the stresses of life.

In the second part of my post featuring Alaska as a favourite photography travel destination this focuses on the stunning Alaskan Wildlife.

On various outings I enjoyed the photographic experiences of a lifetime.  Encountering magnificent Humpback Whales, Bald Eagles ( in the wild and at a rescue centre ), seals, sealions, brown bears and other species.

Whether your experience is encountering stunning wildlife,  viewing magnificent landscapes or meeting interesting people please feel free to share your memories.
