I looked through the wallet to find identification so hopefully I could return it to its rightful owner. A single bill, a rubber band, a penny and a photograph of an old collie. That’s what I found. I imagined the owner was a young boy since there wasn’t a driver’s license, senior citizen card or even a student ID card in the wallet. He had grown up with his faithful canine companion by his side and now a worn photograph since the old collie had passed away. The rubber band and penny was his makeshift slingshot, his favorite toy.
