Jingle, jingle. ” Was that my leash I heard? Are we going for a walk?” Mollie got up hurriedly from her spot in front of the glass door where the winter sun had warmed up the floor tiles. Henry, the Golden Retriever, looks toward the sound of the shutting door, gets up, shakes a bit and walks over and takes a drink out of his bowl. Looking at the other bowl next to it, seeing it empty, he walks back to rug, yawns, circles a few times and goes back to sleep.

Love this, Bill. Short and to the point portraying a very secure dog, knowing his owner will return to fill that empty bowl.
