I Have a Warning<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n
I come to speak not of dreams alone, but of the shadows that threaten them.<\/div>\n
I come to speak of a nation drifting toward hate, where lies are lifted higher than truth,<\/div>\n
where cruelty is paraded as strength,<\/div>\n
and where the sacred promise of our Constitution is torn apart by hands unworthy of its trust.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
I have a warning:<\/div>\n
that fascism does not come only with tanks and banners,<\/div>\n
but with silence, with fear,<\/div>\n
with leaders who claim power not to serve the people, but to rule them.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
I have a warning:<\/div>\n
that the rights so many bled and died for are being stripped away piece by piece,<\/div>\n
that the voices of the weak are drowned out by the shouts of the powerful,<\/div>\n
and that America, land of freedom, is gasping for air beneath the weight of its own betrayal.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
But I also have a dream, still,<\/div>\n
that this nation will remember itself,<\/div>\n
that love will not bow before hate,<\/div>\n
that courage will rise again in the hearts of ordinary people,<\/div>\n
and that liberty\u2014long battered, long wounded\u2014<\/div>\n
will yet find healing in the hands of those who refuse to surrender.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Let us not be blinded by false promises, nor numbed by despair.<\/div>\n
Let us rise up, as citizens, as neighbors, as human beings,<\/div>\n
to say with one voice:<\/div>\n
Hate shall not rule us.<\/div>\n
Fascism shall not define us.<\/div>\n
And the death of America shall not be written in our time.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
For we have a duty to the future\u2014<\/div>\n
to the children yet unborn,<\/div>\n
to the songs yet unsung,<\/div>\n
to the dreams yet unimagined\u2014<\/div>\n
to keep the flame of freedom alive.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
And so I say:<\/div>\n
This struggle is not the end of America.<\/div>\n
It is the test of America.<\/div>\n
And we, the people,<\/div>\n
shall not fail.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
