Think of all the many paintings, drawings and photographs of hands that you have seen.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0Wedding photos with hands wearing the wedding rings.<\/strong><\/p>\n An older person\u2019s hand holding a child\u2019s hand.<\/strong><\/p>\n Holding a dying parent\u2019s hand.<\/strong><\/p>\n Poems, blogs and articles are often accompanied by an image of an elderly hand.\u00a0 Wrinkled with age spots that hand represents years of service.<\/strong><\/p>\n What about your feet?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Do you see as many images of feet as you do hands?<\/strong><\/p>\n Do you read as many poems, blogs and articles about feet as you do about hands?<\/strong><\/p>\n Several of my art challenge photographs this past week or two have involved feet, both humans and canines.<\/strong><\/p>\n Think about your feet and their service just as you might think about how your hands serve you.<\/strong><\/p>\n You can\u2019t keep your balance without your feet.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n You can\u2019t stand straight and still without your feet.<\/strong><\/p>\n You can\u2019t walk without your feet.<\/strong><\/p>\n Even with the pain from bunions, ingrown toenails or plantar fasciitis our feet serve us by enabling us to stand without falling over, to walk and sometimes even to run.<\/strong><\/p>\n Let\u2019s not \u201cdrag our feet\u201d but instead \u201cjump in with both feet\u201d when it comes to \u201cputting our best foot forward\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n Remember to keep \u201cboth feet on the ground\u201d without letting \u201cthe grass grow under your feet\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n
