Adapt: to adjust.\u00a0\u00a0 Adjust:\u00a0 to adapt.<\/p>\n

Another one of those dictionary definitions that entice you to look up the definition word.\u00a0 That can be frustrating when you don\u2019t know the meaning of a word in the first place.<\/p>\n

However, in this case I already know the meaning of both words.\u00a0 That\u2019s a good thing, too, because the need for me to put those words in practice could also be frustrating.\u00a0 And who needs more frustration in life?<\/p>\n

I have been enamored with the art challenges I\u2019ve been doing (don\u2019t you love the way I used enamored, giving a positive feeling, instead of addicted, giving a negative feeling?).\u00a0\u00a0 I recently signed up for a 30 day one.\u00a0 Thirty Days!<\/p>\n

And then life happened.\u00a0 We found ourselves planning an out of state road trip to visit an ill family member.\u00a0 Would I still have time to complete a challenge every single day while away from home?\u00a0\u00a0 If I managed to photograph and\/or process a daily image would I have internet service to upload that image?<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know the answer to those questions but I know I want to adapt and adjust my thinking, as well as my actions in order to still stay in the challenge.<\/p>\n

In between loads of laundry that need to be done before packing, I can take photographs to process on challenge days. \u00a0I will start the challenge while away from home and process and upload new work every day that I am able.<\/p>\n

Life events will always \u201cget in the way\u201d of our plans for living. \u00a0One important step to successful goal completion is to adapt and adjust along the way when those events threaten to push us off track.<\/p>\n

Adapt and adjust. Evidently I have not perfected this because life keeps requiring that I keep adapting and adjusting.\u00a0 What about you?<\/p>\n
