I am writing this post on the 11th<\/sup> day of this present travel adventure.\u00a0 Some days I went with the flow easily and other days I felt like I was drowning, thrashing around and screaming for help (metaphorically speaking).<\/strong><\/p>\n

My friend and navigator has been fired multiple times, most recently for not cleaning the windshield at a gas stop as she promised. The truth is that we both forgot to do that until we were once again on our way.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve experienced clean hotels that provided good breakfast fare along with old, run down properties and poor breakfast choices, paying about the same for either condition. <\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve had several close calls, accident wise, as well as witnessing multiple major vehicle crashes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I managed to use available wifi to access the internet when needed so that I could write and post my blogs from my trusty laptop instead of my phone.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve taken thousands of photographs even though most days produced the dreaded white skies.\u00a0 On two occasions I even forgot to grab my camera as we rushed out the door, late for appointments.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Making our way back to our original destination finds us stopping along the way to visit old friends and family.\u00a0 By the time this blog entry posts we will be on the last leg of this journey.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sleep deprived with aching muscles, we\u2019re ready to kick back, relax, and reflect on the events that have transpired.<\/strong><\/p>\n
