Both tags and categories help organise content, but they do slightly different jobs:

    • Categories
      – Broad groupings for your posts.
      – Think of them as the main “folders” of the forum.
      – Example: Photography, Painting, Writing.

    • Tags
      – More specific labels.
      – They help describe details of your post and improve search.
      – Example: Under Photography, you might add tags like black and white, landscapes, portraits.

    When to Use Them

    • Always pick a category — it’s the main way your post is organised.

    • Add tags if you want to highlight particular themes, styles, or techniques.

    • Don’t overdo it — 3–5 tags are usually enough.

In short: Categories are for structure. Tags are for detail.
