I captured this colorful Anemone in a garden in Cylburn Aboretum, Baltimore Maryland. Anemone, a brightly colored plant of the buttercup family, are considered windflowers, but are perfect ground cover. They are subtropical plants that appear to do well in the hot, humid Maryland summer gardens.
