#830- A Crystalline Moment

The steam off my teacup mirrored tendrils arising from the frozen lake. Dawn was teasingly lifting her veil as glints of Light flashed between the treeline spaces. It had begun, the ever new choreography of liminal moment and undulating rhythms of Darkness receding to blush between advancing Gold. This was my crystalline space…the silence…the steam…the dance…the awareness of pulse, beating in my neck as I swallowed HEAT.  Oh, to FEEL this ALIVE in the frozen silence between owl hoot and foreboding alarm shrill. Suddenly, the molten horizon exploded to burn the lake in a scatter of Fire-and-Ice moment! Beauty gasped as the dream shattered in the blare of time-sound. The tryst is ended for another day.

    1. Many thanks Abbie…my friends often ask…what is in that tea? On reread, I still recall those magical days in Ithaca. They were life changing …in the stillness…after releasing so many years of city life and career.

  1. Many thanks Kathy! (Apologies for the delayed response. This site revision is WONDERfully interactive.) I hope to contribute more regularly now
